Mnesarchus
For my 10g with 5g sump, I have purchased 2 x 55w Powercompact (1 x 10000k, 1 x Actinic 03). Will this be too much light? Will it be harmful? Link to comment
cmoreash
I think it should be fine, just make sure you aclimate corals, etc to the different light. heh i have seen 2x55w on a 5.5g....some other member hear i dunt remember who. ??? Link to comment
tyoberg
Will a 24" long light fit over that tank? Other than that, Nope! You're good--you can always make dimmer areas in the tank. Ty Link to comment

JIM27
Personally I think there is a such thing as too much light(a 1000w 65k mh 3 inches over a 5 gallon shroom tank is too much IMO) although 2x55 watters is not too much. I'm running a 150w de HQI mhover my 10. Link to comment
