AC 300 for 29G

Would an AC 300 be enough for a refuge for a 29G? Unfortunately, my tank is a little older so the slot for HOB filters is only 11.5". I wanted to use a CPR Aquafuge, but they're too big.

 

Any thoughts? ???

 

Or am I smoking crack and the CPR would work? I've never seen one up close, so maybe it will fit?
