SRGaudio
Hi there, this is mostly speculative, as i am still in the research stages of breeding this particular fish, and there isn't as much info out there as there are with clowns. What is the ideal water temp for breeding cardinals? I ask because i am hoping that i can plumb a cardinal tank into the same sump as my clown tank, i figure the more WV the better, right? The only hangup is that I cant seem to figure out if if ok to keep cardinals at 82-83 degrees, and also whether or not they will mate at that temp. Also, is there anything else i need to consider or worry about in regards to pluming it all into one system? Thanks! Link to comment

altolamprologus
I keep mine at 80-81, but I have heard of other breeders keeping them at 82-83. They should do just fine at that temp. Link to comment
