rc407093
I've got the lights mounted up finally. Take a look...by the way, I apologize for the terrible pictures, they're taken with my phone. While I definitely like the light output and everything, this isn't totally done. I'm thinking about replacing the chains with a hanging wire to make it look neater. Also, I'm trying to think of a decent looking way of wrapping this thing. Maybe black acrylic or some aluminum sheet? rc407093
I recently decided that making a nice aquarium necessitates having a good method of sharing it with others. Accordingly, stand by for some new pictures with this Sony NEX-5N that I picked up yesterday! Link to comment
rc407093
Added corals: I've added some corals in now. Some sort of unknown disaster happened in the tank that most of them came from. Hopefully they'll get their color back about them, given some more time. Added pictures: I'm very new to photography altogether and my new camera (Sony NEX-5n). Come to think of it, I'm very new to post-processing also. I gladly welcome any/all help or recommendations! I hope these aren't too bad: Link to comment

gabe3eb
Sweet dimensions man! That's a nice job on the LEDs too. You having any issues with the amount of flow getting around the tank without causing a sand storm? Link to comment

You having any issues with the amount of flow getting around the tank without causing a sand storm? Thanks! That was actually one of my biggest concerns with such a shallow tank. I haven't had a sandstorm yet, surprisingly. My return pump should be pushing ~400gph given the head height. The MP10, due to the rockwork, is currently running on the 3rd light but it has been higher without issue. Link to comment
