BustytheSnowMaam
When I look in the holes in the LR, I see little fish-like creatures with big irridescent eyes swimming about (they swim like fish as well as look like fish). I'm thinking they're some sort of larvae. They're about 1/3 of an inch long. Here are my tank inhabitants- 2 Oscellaris (I doubt they're the "parents", they don't seem to have paired off yet and I have never seen eggs) 5 blue-leg crabs (I have seen the females ejecting larvae before, so that's a possibility, but the larvae were very small) 2 zebra hermits (??) 1 striped hermit (Clibanarius Vittatus) Lots of stomatella snails, 1 margarita snail, 1 baja snail 1 hitchhiker crab (looks like a hairy, but seems harmless so far) I'm wondering if they're hermit larvae- but they seem pretty big. Is this possible? Or is it possible that they're not larvae but adult creatures of some kind? Sorry my description is vague. I can't get a pic because they lurk deep down in the dark holes. Thanks, Tasha Link to comment
jdiver
Possibly baby shrimp. They could have come in on a piece of lr or coral, which happened in my friend's tank not too long ago. Link to comment
