nano man can Posted April 4, 2004 Share Posted April 4, 2004 my peppermint shrimp is now carrying eggs im excited! but i dont know what i have to do to help the eggs hatch and grow to a good size. if anyone has some info i would greatly appreciate it. ill take anything! Link to comment

567a Posted April 4, 2004 Share Posted April 4, 2004 two huh?.......Duh, man i got to learn to read. The larvae they are actually pretty big - around full grown brine shrimp size when they hatch. They are pretty whispy though. It shouldn't be hard at all to siphon some off if you're there when it happens. Link to comment

567a Posted April 5, 2004 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I have three pep's; I seem to get almost a batch a week. You'll know when the time is coming the eggs keep getting bigger.... every time i have caught mine it has been just a bit after the tank light goes off. the shrimp swims into the water column, kicks its' tail hard once or twice and next thing ya know larvae everywhere.
