fortheloveofcrabs
Okay, It may be a stupid question, but I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere... I am going to put MH bulbs on my nano. I just can't seem to quite pin it down as to what temp. 10,000k or 20,000k. I've heard from some people that a 10,000k need to have actinics as well as the MH, and 20,000k don't. I have also heard that 20,000k bulbs need daylight bulbs as well as the HM. My question: It one 20,000k gonna give me all the spectrums I need, (I know that's a broad question), or will I have to supplement... Or, is one 10,000k gonna give me all I need, or will I have to supliment.... Thanks... Link to comment
vyger
Some of the 70 watt bullbs that are 10,000 are really like 13,000 and should be a little more blue I would think.. I know when I finally set up my MH that is what I'm going to use.. I 've seen them on tanks and they don't appear to be that white from what i can tell.. I think the 20,000 might be too blue for me..without a little white to balance it Link to comment
