DRBOB
I have a CPR HOB on my 20H, that is about 5 wks up, with calupera, LS, and just a little LR rubble. 13 W light that is on 24/7 The macro is growing slowly, and there is alot of brown and green algae, on the walls of the fuge. The display tank looks great no significant algae (other than corraline). My question is should I add a snail or two or anything to the fuge to help contro the algae growth?? Link to comment
mogurnda
I have a breeding colony of little strombus snails, plus a few stomatella and ceriths in mine. Keep the thing pretty clean. Link to comment
onthefly
Same as mogurnda, my strombus swam up the outlet, then scaled the wall into the fuge.....like salmon going home! They keep the really ugly stuff minimized.....still funky thought! Better there than in the main tank! Link to comment
