snookface1 Posted April 1, 2004 Share Posted April 1, 2004 I currrently have a 96w pc over my 13 gal custom tank (size of a 10 gal but 16" high insteal of 12"). I have the stock 50/50 lights, but I really dont like to light color. Do you think I could go with a staight Actinic bulb. I don't have any coral in it yet, but am not planning to add SPC. snookface1 Posted April 1, 2004 Author Share Posted April 1, 2004 My current 50/50 bulb is the stock Coralife Aqualight and it is not blue at all. It is whiteish yellow. My 55 gal has one 10K and Actinic (110vho) and is light blue. It makes the coraline pink to purple, which is not the case with the 50/50. Link to comment
