And so when exactly do you think these clowns will start to host?

I dunno....

I just put up a smaller size pic of one clown, in a GBTA.

I think the fact that it's now life size, will help a bit.

I'll let you guy's know, as soon as it happens.

Brown one could turn out to be a tricolor Valida, if it shows green polyps eventually, then tips turn blue, you'll know!

Looks just like mine did when I brought it home!

Thanks... It looks just like that in real life. :D

It's actually a 'Torch Coral'....

I'm not an ID expert, but are you sure it's a torch?

The tentacles are so short.

My first coral was a torch and his tentacles were all like:

Gawdammit, I love yer Derps....:D

---------------------

I'm calling it a torch, but I beleive it's a different genus of torch.

Not so common.

Fwiw, the tentacles were MORE than 6" across, at the LFS.

I think going from 4x54W T5HO Actinic's, to 1x 60W Led is a bit of a shock.

They were ~12" from the 4x bulb fixture.

So, I'd guesstimate in 220-300 PAR range.

Now, there in around 350-400.... A bit of step up.

I'm gonna look up euphyllia info, right now.

Be back in a little while, with a true ID....

My wrasse wakes up around 9am, now.

It's weird.

Whatever... She sleeps through the night.

So, I'm happy with her schedule.

The Clowns are much happier, too.

They like sleeping through the night.

At least, it seems that way... I'm no Fish-Psychologist. :slap::lol:

Great looking stuff man, I can't read my acro anymore so I'm done microanalyzing it. If it makes it, hurray, if not, shame on me for not inspecting the frag better and have one more story about why that LFS blows.

..but it did sell me an aiptasia eating flame angel.. That almost makes up for everything.

Do you think a barnacle blenny would pick at an open brain coral? I had a bicolor blenny that did that and I'm leary about adding anymore blennies because of that.

BB's are the most passive fish I've ever seen....

You'll be fine.
