drunkfish13 Posted April 1, 2004 Share Posted April 1, 2004 i am going to upgrade my 10g to a 20l and i bought a used canopy from a friend it hasa 175 10000k MH and 2 65wt atinic pc's i have to replact the bulbs and the ballast will run t5s so i was thinking of useing 2 atinic t5s instead. anyone using t5s how are they? what do you guys think? i can run up to 4 is two enough or should i use 4? thanks for the help Link to comment
gavin123 Posted April 1, 2004 Share Posted April 1, 2004 Well, what kind of ballast is it? t-5's last alot longer than pc's and run cooler, however if you don't use the right ballast the bulbs life will greatlly decrease. t-5's rely alot on the reflector, having a good reflector will make the lights alot brighter.
