Blownpony Posted April 2, 2004 Share Posted April 2, 2004 Everything in my tank is coverd with them. I have a astera snail and his shell is covered looks like he has red fur. But when something gets close to him they all go inside. Its so neat. Link to comment

Optimum Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 I had the same problem. I cut back on the feeding and they stop poping up everywere. I think most phytoplankton manufacturers directions are way more than you need. Link to comment
birdman204 Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 They are a type of filterfeeding worm, they reproduce readily, and take up most darker areas. They are beneficial as they are filter feeders and help to keep your water clean. Link to comment
