c_hemmerich
I have a 5.5 gallon nano reef. I have a mushroom coral, a candy cane coral, a ricordia and a few blue leg hermits, zebra snails and an emerald crab. For lighting i am now using one mini compact. It is the coralife 20W mini compact. The 50/50 one with actinic and 50000k. Do you think that this is enough light? What if i want a small sebae anenome?? Link to comment
jasontatro
That light is gonna be a little low for the candy cane. LPS require higher levels of light than your softies. I would advise against an anemone in a tank that size. Besides being to small to allow for growth, sebaes are known to move around, and they will sting everything in their path. Link to comment
SaltyDawg
stay away from anenome's unless they are of the ricordia species. Anenomes get big quick and move around alot. They WIL kill anything in their paths when on the move. I would go with one more of those 20w mini compacts and you'd be set for both sps and softies. Link to comment
