jojomichael
Will this heater fit inside the 300? Which heaters will? Please let me know before I place my order at Big Al's, so that I can also order the heater... Link to comment
MattGecko
Ebo will be to big, Visi-therm 6" 50W heater will fit. Do not remove it when its turned on, it will crack (I learned the hard way). Link Link to comment
MillerLite
Visi-therm heaters blow. I wouldnt never use a visi-therm heater again. After a while, mine must have cracked and almost boiled my water. Lost a few inverts. The water went from 77 to 89. My Ebo-Jagr rocks and has kept the temperature steady as a rock. It has extra thick glass that prevents cracking. Plus I think they have one of the most trusted names in aquarium heating. Link to comment

squirrelmaster
Are there any other small heaters that are 6-7"? I'm looking to do the same AC300 mod. Link to comment
MillerLite
Here is one. I have heard mixed reviews about it. You may wish to keep the other heater in the tank until you are confident that this heater wont break down on you. http://www.petco.com/product_info.asp?fami...t2=Heaters&ct3= It is the new tetratec heater that is originally built for the tetratec filter. Hope this helps. Link to comment
