KansasCoral-Nu-B Posted March 31, 2004 Share Posted March 31, 2004 i run a 10g. i'd say before you decide read read read. because you wont get a straight answer from anyone. i'll tell you what i'm running because i choose from what i read. but that doesnt mean its what is right for you. 10g tank 96w coral life light 214 powersweep whisper 300gph HOB filter w/out media (except purigen) 20lbs live sand 13lbs LR tonga and fiji 5lbs dead rock 2 perc's no heater but my room temp is stable cleaning crew of about 9 blue legs, 1 turbo, i astrea and a sand sifting star that hitch hiked Link to comment

Once you decide that, use the search and check out peoples' aquariums that have the same design you're thinking about. Honestly there are a million different ways to set-up and run a nano-reef.
