coral reef Posted March 30, 2004 Share Posted March 30, 2004 i have a 20h with a 175w mh 13k and 2-65w pcs actinic i have asst acroporas montapora and lots of lps i was wondering if i switch to 20k mh bulb will my sps be ok or would the par be to low thanks for all your replys Link to comment
Gerard the fish Posted March 30, 2004 Share Posted March 30, 2004 Your sps should be fine with the switch... its been said that acros color up more under 20k's. Only item of note is that some 20k bulbs are not very clam friendly. Link to comment

skeletor Posted March 31, 2004 Share Posted March 31, 2004 it will be fine, I run 1 20K XM + 2 x 55w PC Actinics over my 20 and I get great color and growth from montis and acros. I also have a couple of t.max clams that are very happy under the 20k. -skeletor- Link to comment
