jtgordon20
I want to get some epoxy to try new aquascapes. I haven't seen if someone has said this is safe for reef but here's a link. Thanks for looking. Epoxy link! Link to comment
ApiratenamedJohn
if it has cyanoacrylate in it, it should be safe. i used the loctite super glue gel for my scape and its working great so far. Link to comment
jtgordon20
I'm looking for an epoxy putty to give a big attachment to rocks. Link to comment
ApiratenamedJohn
Well my rocks are glued to the back wall like a rock wall. Wartskin did the same in his bc14. But as far as epoxy goes, I haven't used it cause I never here good things about it. That's why I went with super glue over epoxy. But I'm sure there are a few people on here who have had a good experience with it. Link to comment
BLoCkCliMbeR
hold fast is one brand specifically marketed for aquarium use. its ok, im sure there are better 2 part epoxies Link to comment
Adam_T
Bonding Rocks together? I wouldn't use epoxy... I would use a putty like Aqua Stik or JB Weld Aquastik. It's a 2 part putty that hardens in 15 minutes...full cure in 12 hours or something like that. Hard as a rock. Link to comment

BLoCkCliMbeR
youre not fat, your a$$ is. personally, i try to stick to brands specifically for aquariums, just safer. i believe 2 little fish makes a 2 part epoxy PUTTY also. Link to comment
