e17jo1
How do you get the glass to stay spotless. I was looking through the gallery and I came accross a really nice 10 gallon tank http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/showphoto...um&cat=2&page=1 but I noticed that the glass is kind of dirty. I was wondering how to keep that clean to where my tank will be @ show level all the time! I am a beginner and am not quite sure what the purple stuff on the glass is. I want to say bacteria but Im probably wrong. Is it bad if you don't have a cover and just the lights on stands right above the tank. I kow the water will evaporate and the salt will get on the bottom side of the lights and was wondering if its ok to not have a hood. If you can please help that would be cool! Link to comment
Paulc
That purple stuff is coralline algae (good !) If you want to remove it you can use a razor blade ( on a glass tank) Link to comment
