MGXsport Posted March 29, 2004 Share Posted March 29, 2004 NOOOOO I hear a clicking noise that sounds almost exactly like my heater but my heater is going on and off or when my hermit walks into the glass. It seems to click about ever second for about 5 seconds and then stops. I haven't found anything dead from a broken shell yet but I am going to be doing spotting with my flashlight tonight when I hear the clicks. What is the best way of spotting and trapping the sucker? Anyone want it if I find it? Link to comment

I have had a similar thing going on with my 4 gallon since I set it up and all my hermits and snails are still accounted for. I'm pretty sure that mine is just a pistol shrimp. It also clicks repeatedly for about 5 seconds. I think it does it to announce it's territory when a hermit comes too close. Link to comment
MGXsport Posted March 30, 2004 Author Share Posted March 30, 2004 I am thinking that now too because there have been no noticeable losses (except for retarded snails that fall X) ) Just before I submited my reply I just heard three clicks but no one seems to be effected by it.
