SilverSpurs
3 days ago I bought two Chocolate Clowns from a not so LFS wholesaler. These are tank bred and raised - they are only babies now. The small one measures about 1/2" from lip to fin and the larger one is only a hair larger. It took several hours to acclimate them and both of them have been swimming around and very active. I have been feeding them cyclop-eeze twice a day. The little one has been eating since the first feeding. The bigger one on the other hand, I have not seen eat yet. She does seem to grab the little one by the mouth right after the little one grabs food though, I wonder if she is stealing food from him. I did notice that the larger one's gills are sticking out a bit from her body - yet she doesn't seem to be laboring to breath. Is this normal for the acclimation process for some fish? Should I be worried or patient? Thanks for any help!! Link to comment
