snostorm
I have noticed a slight low tide smell eminating from my cycling nano. Is this normal? I told my wife it was part of the cycling process and it well eventually go away. (she says it smells like farts.) I this right I hope? Link to comment
darwin604
Yeah a bit of a smell is fairly normal for a cycling tank. It it become overwhelming, try running some activated carbon for a day or two, should clear up the smell a fair amount. d. Link to comment
kalawai
You sure it's not the beans you ate the night before---LOL It's very normal for a new tank--and like darwin604 say's just run some activated carbon--it should be better. Link to comment
Cellenzweig
Uncured live rock often has a strong sulphur smell. I assume that's what you are smelling. It will go away, but carbon will definately help. Link to comment
