Red gracillaria turning white

Does this mean it's dying or just shock from my lights??

If stress from lights will the white turn back red or should I clip the white parts are discard?

Clip and discard the dead portions. You should trim back about 1/8" from the white area to cut into healthy plant. I keep my gracillaria somewhat shaded and with moderate flow and it does well. When I have it exposed to direct light it fades pretty quickly.

just like corals, they bleach with too much light.
