Boomerblaster
Hey everyone! I was just at "That Fish Place" and they just redid their fish and coral room! WOW! They have an awesome supply. I noticed some realllllly nice branching hammers there (about 3 of em each with at least four heads) can you tell me about this coral? What do i need to do to keep it healthy, lighting, food, etc. Also, they had them for 30$, it seemed like a good price to me? Thanks everybody! This forum is priceless!! -Jonathan Link to comment
MakoMan36
you better off going with Torch or Frogsprawn, these two are way hardier and easy to keep than hammer. Link to comment
rickjg
I had better luck with a branching hammer than with a torch, but hammers sting the crap out of anything they can reach and they can suprise you by reaching almost everywhere in a nano. Link to comment
Arden
Hammers are agressive but I find them to be fairly hardy. Water quality must be stable. Link to comment
offsprg01
torch hammer frogspawn, all euphillia (sp) ie they are very closely related. the diffrence is in the shape of the polyps. care for all is about the same. Link to comment
MarLooney
hammers are the most prone to infection of the euphillia group. a lot of times they discolor and then receed until dead. i hold back if you intend to house it in a new tank. Link to comment
