bugsy
Hi, just wanting to know a few things: Will a single mushroom spread to have more mushrooms? If yes, how long would this take? Do mushrooms have to be fed? If so, what is usually used? Are there any fish or clean up crew that will eat mushrooms? And lastley, are mushrooms quite easy to keep for the beginner? Bugsy:) Link to comment
CrocoDillon
They spread, might take a looong time (one of mine tripled after 5 months) Don't have to be fed, they have photosunthetic zooxanthellea if I spell it right... you can feed it tho. Peppermints shrimps might eat mushrooms, I have peps that never touched the shrooms dont know bout other animals... They r easy, good luck! Link to comment
Smif-n-Wessom
Yes, a single mushroom can spread but to tell you how long it will take would be impossible. My single purple mushroom developed two more mushrooms on the same rock in about two months. The best way to get your mushrooms to spread is to cut them. Link to comment

EtOH_is_good
cut them for asexual reproduction. can sometimes increase population very quickly this way with certain types. there was a thread about this a couple weeks back. do a search. Link to comment
