javisaman Posted September 26, 2011 Share Posted September 26, 2011 Do you get rid of hair algae that attaches to macro. For instance I have flame algae with branches that have some hair algae growing on it. I heard that dwarf ceriths will crawl up macros and eat the algae. Link to comment

NinjaBum Posted September 26, 2011 Share Posted September 26, 2011 I'd say you probably have to stick manual removal. I pluck any larger tufts out that I see growing. If your small snails aren't doing much (usually have very little impact) anything larger that would plow through hair algae would be most content blowing through your macros as well. Link to comment
