theclearblue
I've always thought sun corals were beautiful, but a PITA to take care of. Pretty young tank to put them in, but good luck. Link to comment
DanUMD
i got the sun corals from roozen's for $10. hopefully i can make them grow. i just made a "soda bottle hat" to feed them. been feeding them every other day and they seem to come out more and more each day. I have been only feeding them at night, but eventually I want to train them to come out during the daytime as well. took a while to track down some cycop-eeze, the LFS was all out. i have heard that sun corals will eat forumla 1, but so far they like the cycop the best i think. -Dan Link to comment
Reefer_Buddha
is there a reason why you have some much rock on the sand bed? Gone be a little high on nitrates if you let food get to where it cant get eaten. Cool sun polyps too Link to comment
DanUMD
my nitrates have never been above 10. i do weekly water changes about 15% each time. most of that rubble came from garf's grunge that they sent me 2 lbs free. i plan to put most of it in my ac500 after i convert it to a fuge.
