sweevo
I've got a toadstool coral and at night when all the polyps have withdrawn I sometimes see a couple of telescopic like fine tenticles that come out from the rim of the top of the toad stool. They're very fine, can stretch out approx 8" and have short (to 2")branching tenticles along the full length. They go back and forth in the current. If this comes into contact with other corals will it harm them? At the moment there's not much in my Nano. I've read about LPS corals having long tentacles that can reach out and sting other nearby corals but I wasn't expecting anything like this on my leather (soft) corals. Here's a couple of pics of the coral in question just in case it's not a leather toadstool coral. Link to comment
