William
Came very well packaged, works great with the 250ml of Ecobak pellets i am using, compact design and incorporated pump work well, and tornado action of the pellets keeps them suspended and gunk free. Would certainly recommend. Link to comment
reefereddy
Can you keep us posted on your bio pellet use? I read somewhere that this reactor tumbles them too much but I don't have any experience with it Link to comment
William
Can you keep us posted on your bio pellet use? I read somewhere that this reactor tumbles them too much but I don't have any experience with it it does tumble them a bit, but the flow to it is adjustable, so i just throttled it down to the point that they gently tumble. gotfrogs
Are you still running EcoBak in the alpha 1 reactor? I am thinking of using the same setup on a new 58 gallon SPS setup. Woul you recoment it? Link to comment
William
yes i am, the only problem with this reactor, is that i bought the TLF biopellets first and they were so small they they fell in to the groves on the bottom of the reactor, so make sure you use ecobak or one of the other larger sized pellets.
