ElectroTT Posted March 23, 2004 Share Posted March 23, 2004 hey reefers. it's that time to replace my bulb. i have a 29g tank which is lit up by 175 watts of MH powered by a PFO ballast and 2x36 watt actinics. i was wondering wat spectrum you guys would go with. i currently have a 10k bulb but want a more whiter crisp look. the 20k looks nice but since i have actinics, it might be to much on the bluer side. have any of you seen the 13k or 15? or any pics with tanks with 13k or 15k bulbs? im thinkin about gettin the 13k. bobioden Posted March 23, 2004 Share Posted March 23, 2004 I also have the PFO with 175w and 2x32. I really like the look of the 10k XM bulb I am using. Very crisp white light, and with the Actinics I think it is a perfect combination. Link to comment
