so much for using the stock acryllic splash guard on my nano cube. I guess 64w of pc lighting no more than 3/4 of an inch away was too much. No biggie, I went to the local Ace and picked up a piece of plexi glass and custom cut it with my dremel. That sits on the tank and is not screwed onto the hood.
