hello everyone,

my tank is coming along nicely and im looking at purchasing something new to add some green colour.

i have 40 watts of PC over the tank and for movement i have a ac300 and acmini running on lowest setting.

im wondering if i can keep a candy cane. ive read they require medium to high light levels and low-medium water flow. any comments?

How tall is the tank? I keep a nice, very healthy 3 head green candy cane under 80w of PC in a 17.5" tall tank. The candy cane is about 9-10" from the lights. I like to feed mine though. About 3 times a week it gets directly fed, and eats pretty much anything. I've given it mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, formula one, and it's even taken some pellet food.

opps, i forgot to mention the tank itself!

its a 10 gallon rectangle, i believe the height is 12 inches.

i have a couple small zoo frags, gsp, and 4 mushrooms(very small). there is a large feather duster, two fire shrimp and several snails in there as well.
