jhakim
Is it true that the Grape Caulerpa can go sexual and disintegrate overnight? Why does that happen? What should I do to prevent that besides keeping light on 24x7 as suggested? Link to comment
MGXsport
maybe try another place for the thread Link to comment
Reefer_Buddha
gracillaria is much better, also chaeto. Great filter macros and never run the risk of going sexual. Link to comment
TJ_Burton
Caulerpa's such as (common names) Grape Caulerpa, Cup Caulerpa and Feather caulerpa can all go sexual and die overnight, you will know when it has gone sexual because it changes from its green color to a transparent white. Chaeto is a much better idea... But for a nutrient export I defenently prefer a Xenia Filter... (elongata works best) Link to comment
LakerFan
I second or third the cheato or halimeda (consumes alot of calcium though) for refugiums. Once the grape goes sexual on you, you will see a milky tank! not a pretty sight. Link to comment
Kingpin
Tang heaven, spegetti aglae, and Zenia are the greatest Exporters IMO. alot of people will agree. why not all 3? Link to comment
