HogWinslow Posted March 22, 2004 Share Posted March 22, 2004 I got my wife talked into a 16 gallon mini-bow. What lighting would you suggest? I have a 10 with 2/ 36 watt PC's now. I'm thinking that this won't penitrate the water far enough. I currently have softys, zoo's, ric's and mushrooms. Tom Link to comment
qfour20 Posted March 22, 2004 Share Posted March 22, 2004 Your best bet for lighting, especially lighting that needs to penetrate the water, is metal halide. Do a search for DIY metal halide. You'll find a lot of ideas. Good luck, -q Link to comment
