East1
got a pic of that reactor?? nah I don't mate, I might get one when my sps shipment arrives today it's bascially the pump running into the tube of the reactor and a lid, it's not a complex piece of hardware lol Link to comment
East1
Just a quick update, I just recieved a delivery of SPS, including a lovely stylo pisillata, and a HUGE pocillopora damicornis that's sitting as a crown on my rockscape, I'll have pics up tonight when they open up later. I've just counted and have got 18 frags / small colonies in this tank now lol, that's excluding LPS and soft corals Link to comment
East1
Pics as promised, excuse the point and shoot, I'm going to get a DSLR when my salary comes the poci has a nice little commensal crab but I can't see him atm and a photo of the reactor since everyone's asking Link to comment
kthehun89
Another amazing <10g SPS tank, applause. Check out my 6.8g if you get a chance... Link to comment
East1
Another amazing <10g SPS tank, applause. Check out my 6.8g if you get a chance... thanks mate, I'm going to click onto it now I'm worried about my Hardness and Calcium levels with the new additions keeping my 2part dosing as usual (1ml each in the morning) my levels are 12.5dKH and 480ppm calcium which I believe is acceptable for a reef tank. pH is between 8.0 and 8.2 by API Link to comment
East1
I'm debating 2 things now the first is adding an Aquatronica controller, mostly because I like gadgets, and the second is starting Prodibio to complement the low nutrients I'm getting to apparently. Anyone have any $0.02 they want to add? Link to comment

East1
I'm considering both the aquatronica more so I can get into balling xD here's a graph of my alk movement through the day. 2 was at 8am this morning and 4 was before adding half a ml of my 2 part I'm not sure weather this is healthy, Randy Holmes Farley said that he dosen't think it's an issue as long as it doesn't deviate over the limits it usually fluctuates in over a 24 hour period. *edit* i realised I misentered the and the spike caps at 13.1 not 13.7 Link to comment
East1
Just a little update I've lowered my KH to around 8-9 and it doesn't move more than .6dkh in a day, my poci is getting lovely pink tips and my sps are all looking lovely and fluffy. from reading online, I've decided to go the prodibio route, going to try the digest, bioptim, reefbooster stronti and iodi as well as KZ spur2, an potentially the amino acid concentrates, all just waiting for payday now Link to comment
East1
Just started with my prodibio I'm genuinely amazed, I had to dilute and use less of each of the vials as I accidently ordered the normal and not the nano, but the reefbooster even wih a fifth of a vial has totally clouded up my tank, my sps I could actually see closing thier polyps while feeding and then pop them out again fuzzier than I've seen before, the same with my lps definitely love this stuff! Quick little edit a few hours later and HOLY CRAP my tank's never been so crystal clear before, it's like the fish are floating in air. Link to comment
East1
Little update, pics tonight after my interview I got some zeofood7 and zeospur Macroelements, dosed half the reccommended and my sps polyped out a little more, one thing I did notice is that my LPS all nearly doubled in size in terms of expansision which wasn't something I expected Going to stop at the LFS to get a tiny bit more liveroc to make another overhang for SPS frags Link to comment
Twilton
Good to hear that everything's going well mate. Link to comment
animalmaster6
Awesome tank East! I love the SPS pieces Link to comment
East1
Here's an update in a nutshell more SPS, some Zeovit, some Prodibio lots of superglue, not enough time and a custom shaped lid AWESOME, right? The lack of shimmer is a good trade for a solid cube of ocean, I think Link to comment
popomon
Beautiful tank man, any updates? Link to comment

East1
Unfortunately the tank was upgraded to an ADA 60-f and taken down about a year ago! I have two pictures from it before it was taken down. Link to comment
Reef Fever
so you have the tank above now? looks great Link to comment
East1
so you have the tank above now? looks great I had, the cube reef lasted about 6 months, then I had the shallow ADA for about 8, running on an Aquatronica doser and such, before I took it down. Went on a reefing hiatus and only recently set up the new tank, which is in the process of being converted to a mangrove-reef Link to comment
laguna-madre
Do you have any FTS of the 7g left? All the pics are broken and the video is private. I'm really curious as to how it looked as a whole, but all that seems to be left are some angled shots. Link to comment
