DSparks
OK, I just purchased my first two corals . . . a small frag of GSP and some Xenia. A couple questions: Xenia Question: For now the Xenia is in a fairly high flow location with medium MH lighting. It has extended it's polyps already, but I'm wondering if the flow is too high. The polyps flip flop all over the place. Do Xenia do alright in high flow areas? GSP Question: How long does it take for newly acclimated GSP to extend it's polyps? It's placed low in the tank under MH lighting. Flow is medium. I did a couple searches for this info, but nothing showed up within the first page or two of results. Link to comment
silversurfer
the xenia can be placed in a pretty high flow area. mines is in a medium flow area where the branches sway a bit. as for the GSP, it takes anywhere from two days to three weeks for them to flly open. mines are still opening after two weeks Link to comment
