mag0070
just a couple of hypothetical q's, what would happen if I only used actinics to light my nano? what if I had a 75gal with 800w MH 10000k and then 440w of actinics, would the corals burn due to too much light? If I have 55w of 10000k and 55w of actinic blue are my corals only really getting 55w of light? I came to the conclusion that actinics are just accent lights and are not really capable of lighting a tank alone. is this correct? Link to comment
digz
True actinics mimic the blue light spectrum that hit the lower depths of the reef (20 - 30 ft). *this is what I have read* Link to comment
