darwin604 Posted March 20, 2004 Share Posted March 20, 2004 Just fiddle with it so that there are no 'dead spots'. Try to have flow all over your tank. Depending on your rockwork it could be anywhere. The most popular place is on the side of your tank, near the back, so that is makes a circular current. I have mine set up that way, and I have another smaller powerhead across from it going the other way. I put them both on timers so every 6 hours it changes direction (with a bit of overlap time when both are on). . a bit ghetto but it seems to keep everything in my tank happy. d. Link to comment
