Did some small modifications mainly for water flow and cooling of lights during the summer months. Here in Texas summer months are pretty rough on tank temps. Specs: 13 lbs live sand 15 lbs live rock (Marshal Rock) Mini Jet 404 running at medium flow Mini Jet 606 running at max flow Stock lights Moon lights 50 Watt heater fans with variable speed natural wave power strip for mini-jets and timmers for lights, moons, heater and fans. The stock pump was very nice, variable flow. Problem is that it lasted about two minutes and then started making this very loud sound could not figure it out. Sent back and got a 606. Any suggestions as to rock setup will be appreciated. You guys have helped me plan my tank from the beginning and I do hope that when the corals and fish come I can count on more help from this site and all its users. thanks! Link to comment
