TroyT
I have a 10g that is ready for lights and was thinking of a 175w 20k CoralVue setup from diyreef. Input please. I want to keep SPS, a clam, open brain, zoos, and shrooms. Too much, just right, or what? I was looking at the 175w because I want to keep it if I upgrade to a larger tank. Thanks. Link to comment
Korbin
A 150 watt DE produces more light than a 175 SE. Plus, a 10K bulb is a LOT brighter than a 20K bulb. You could keep SPS and clams with a 175 watt 20K, but from my experience, I would recommend either getting the 150 watt or switching to 10K. Or both. That is, if you want to eliminate any chance that you will ever want more light for your SPS and clam. Link to comment
qfour20
http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/mar...004/feature.htm Regent pendant, 150w DE metal halide. If I didn't already own a 70w and ballast, that's what I'd do. -q Link to comment
