gusto
this is a excellent site,I've been following it for a few weeks days now. I currently have a 75 gallon with african cichlids and a 65 gallon with freshwater fish. I would like to start a 10 gallon Nano reef, I currently have the tank, heater, light (a single bulb strip light which will need to be upgraded) what else in equipment will I need, I do have a seaclone 100 protein skimmer ( I dont know if I will need this). I would like to put in 20 LBS of LR 2" of livesand a clean up crew just a few small clown fish corals mushroom As for the light what would be either a good replacement or a retrokit whats good LR and livesand ( I read livesand is not good for a Nano because its hard to keep a good clean up crew is this true?) Thank you I know this is a very broad question but I basically dont know how to start Thank You Gus Link to comment
mattie
LS and LR is good min. light depends on "corals" just a few clowns sounds irresponsible i hope your kidding mushrooms are good and a clean up crew do alot of research becouse " a little knowledge can be dangerous" Link to comment
gusto
Thank You Mattie, I meant to say a clown if that is still possible, Also from what I see is it better for me to upgrade my 10 gallon or just buy a Nano cube, do they sell them with good lighting, and where is a good place online to purchase. and what other equipment to start off will I need with the nano cube Thank You Gus Link to comment
