michaelmouae38
I went to Randy's fish palace in Stockton Ca today and wow what a nice guy if ever in town visit him, well I saw he had a ton of Halimeda and my question is this ho to take care of it. I know it needs a fair amount of calcium and light that is not going to be a problem as I have a coralife 50/50 10k power compact light and calcium supplement, I have a 4 gal finnex with 5 pounds of live rock and 5 pounds of Caribbean live sand. Do I place the plant in the sand or stick it into a hole in one of the rocks. Thanks for any advice Link to comment
johnmaloney
it depends on what species of halimeda, they can go either way Link to comment

johnmaloney
The rocks then, or a hard surface like a shell you can place on the sand Link to comment
