Zeke
What's up w/ this? I found these snails on rocks during low tide. I don't want to put them in my tank only to find them to have crawled out. Can anyone ID them? I currently have 5 hermits in a 5.5 gal. How many snails to I need? Thanks. Zeke Link to comment
Kingpin
they are cerith snail, that coloration means they are tidal waters. i have found they do eat much aglae.they are worthless unless you got a SW terrium/tidal pools setup. if you own them sell them and get the cortez cerith, the blacks with white dots. these guys dig in the SB. much better agle eater also. if you want aglae team get astrea snails, they are workhorses! Nass Snail for digging in SB and eating deritus. Cerith is like the nass snail just not an extenive digger. Link to comment
