Jpizzle
I'm converting my 29 gallon tank into a SPS tank once I upgrade to a 250 W metal halide pendant... but that's in the distant future $$$. I have a 20 gal. long that I use as a QT but I'm plan on using it as a soft coral tank (don't worry I still have a 10 gal. QT) The 20 gal long has a 50/50 combo- 55 watt coralife retrofit for lighting, prizm skimmer, ~35 lbs of LR and 1-2 in. sand bed. Projected inhabitants include a few peppermints, cleanup crew, 1 royal gramma and 1 neon goby. My question is: what softies will I be able to keep in here due to my low lighting? I would like to keep shrooms, zoos, finger leather (devil's hand I think?), another type of leather TBD like cabbage or something, green star polyps, and xenia. Should these all do ok? The one I would like to keep the most is xenia.. but it's also the main species I think might be questionable under this lighting. Can someone tell me a good xenia sp. to start with and ones to avoid? Link to comment
