mantisshrimp
After the caulerpa went sexual, and my two fish died,it doesn't look like my sea mat will make it.The polyps have swollen to double their normal size. And are not opening.:*( X) Link to comment
tinyreef
water change, fast! make sure the new water's pH and temp are comparable. you may still be able to save it. Link to comment
mantisshrimp
Well, everything was perfect two hours before when I checked it.I did a 50% water change. And my tank is only a ten gallon nano, and now my two other corals,(shrooms and yellow polyps)won't open anymore. I WISH I NEVER ADDED THAT CAULERPA! :*( :x X) Link to comment
tinyreef
give it time, those two are tough 'corals'. give the system time to recover from the shock. i'd run some carbon or poly-filters to 'scrub' the water. and maybe do another 25%~50% change. good luck! Link to comment
SBGRAD24
Caluerpa sucks, try using chaetomorpha. It achieves the same goals and doesn't go sexual. Link to comment
