Algae Ident ... Coralline or not?

My Dark maroon Coralline algae loses a bit of colour then raises up like ... ears ... leafs ... umbrellas.

 

Pink and Green behaving normally.

 

Could it be that the Maroon is actually a different type of algae??

Lucky bastard, thats plating coralline, very rare.

yeah they are probably all different species, there are hundreds of coralline algae species, at least 5 on your rock alone
