Wasabi Posted July 28, 2002 Share Posted July 28, 2002 Anyone have an plans or tips on making one? I'd like to make it about 6"Wx3"Dx8"H. I'm thinking about just making it like CPR's smallest aquafuge only about half the size. I've never worked with acrylic before. Is it easy to cut and will aquarium sealant work for putting it together? Would a small mini jet powerhead work and should I use it on the intake or return? LotR Clown Posted July 29, 2002 Share Posted July 29, 2002 I think that you would better if you used acrylic cement to put it together and then use aquarium sealant to line the joints. The glue basically chemically melts the acrylic and allows them to be bonded together forming a strong joint. The sealant would just be for insurance. That's what i know about acrylic.
