DT's Phytoplankton

DT's is good stuff, but there are a few filter feeders (like SUn Coral) that need larger algaes than what DT provides. It's good for the vast majority of filter-feeders, though.

I've never tried the concentrate, though.

Unless you have a particular coral/critter that has to have it, I'd leave it alone. Overdosing is easy and the addition of the stuff will contribute to nuisance algae.

DT is GREAT! but just make sure you turn off your skimmer if you have one during feeding for at least 15 minutes or else everything will be skimmed out!

Marin snow is a good alternative also...if you think DT is too expensive

The concentrate is the way to go. Just dont overdose.

a vast majority of corals will reject DTs as it is a plant based food, but feather worms, gorgonians, some softies and other inverts will suck them up. I use DT's out of well wishng the best for my lill invisibles in the tanks as they need planktonic foods. Live brine are good to gut load with Dt's before feeding to yer fish.

IMO/E Marine snow is 99 % water 1 % crap. tried it, HATE IT.
