New Nano 12 gal

My roomate sold me his 12 gal Nano that he had set up for three months. It came with heater, power head, 10lbs live rock, couple hermits, small zoo frag, and small mush frag. I added an aero, peppermint shrimp, another small zoo frag, two green trumpet heads, 2 snails, and a small green hammer. Is there anything elses i should add as far as equipment or suggestions to make sure things stay well kept? I was going to replace the 32 wat 50/50 balb and may get a retrofit...Let me know what you guys think.
