jarred1
I want to set up a frag tank for sps and zoas. I have a 150w halide light that I will be using. I want a 15 long tank for the display. What size return pump will I need? The sump will be a 20 long and will have 4 sections, the first will be where the water from the display enters the sump, the second will be a 8" refugium the third part will be a live rock compartment and the fourth part will be where the return pump is. The picture below is the display and a side view of the display. Under the first tank is the sump and the way I want it to look. The second picture is the stand, and it will be 36" long and 40" tall. The one that has the cross in the stand is how the top and bottom of the stand will look. Will this work? Thanks for any help! Link to comment
jeff@zina.com
What size return pump will I need? Depends on the height difference between the sump and frag tank. Doesn't need to be big, but you wouldn't go wrong with a Mag 7 and a valve to bleed some back to the sump for control. Make sure you have an overflow that can handle the rate. Jeff Link to comment
fote03
What kind of power heads are you planing on using? Are you planning on putting sand in the frag tank? Link to comment
