TheNordCelt
Is there a recent FTS of this wonderful biotope? +1 Link to comment
xerophyte_nyc
FTS does not look that good, IMO. Most coral are too small yet to appreciate from a distance, and are not placed permanently either - they're just hanging out on exposed surfaces or sand. Eventually I want to mount frags along the pillar on the right, and along the overhang edges. The Tubastrea clump will be relocated underneath a ledge to make room for photosynthetic inverts. xerophyte_nyc
Just some more photos. Pictures are worth a thousand words, they say. Tunicates galore - these clear ones are clustered and found elsewhere. I also have larger, tan colored tunicates all over the place, and even a few with bright orange mouths. I take it as a good sign these are thriving, along with barnacles. Unknown anemone hitch-hiker - pest? Don't know. Hasn't moved since I first saw it many weeks ago, and the nearby zoas don't mind. Builder Anthony
Nice coral selection.I have a question is that a orange ricordea or some other sort of mushroom that looks to be splitting. Link to comment

Not sure what you're referring to, but I don't have any orange mushroom corallimorphs, so it is either a Ricordea or maybe an acan? Link to comment

iball1804
Absolutely georgeous. Phenomenal. Everything is as open and wide as can be. I love the Temporary garage sale look of all the corals in the last shot. Congrats Link to comment

xerophyte_nyc
For better or worse, this tank has retired thanks to Hurricane Sandy. There is a new build in the works. Feel free to follow along and comment here: Bommie's Edge v2.0 Link to comment
